THE BEGINNING
Jabal Al Dhanna Auto Spare Parts Trading LLC was founded by Barre Samanter in 1954. After he passed away, the company was inherited by his son Mohamed Barre. Initially, the company started with importing foodstuff and exporting livestock from Somalia to other countries. In 1981, Mohamed Barre's son, Mohamud Mohamed Barre, became the manager and made significant changes, including importing tires, batteries, and auto spare parts. Jabal Al Dhanna is now based in the UAE, with operations throughout Somalia and other parts of Africa, employing over 200 people. It is the main agent and distributor of LingLong Tires and Dongah batteries in Somalia.
